Getting weapons fast - Guild Wars Forums

Hey I'm a returning player and I'm just going to work on my title and HoM until GW2... like everyone else.

Anyways I was working on my heros and realized that I have no idea how I'm gonna get the correct weapon sets for each of them... What's the best way (in this situation) to get max weapons quickly? Rarity is of no desire to me, the weapons can be blue for all I care.

Heroes come with weapons that are good enough to get you started. A collector weapon is a step up, often missing something like an inscription or a health boost. So stick with minor runes on heroes until you can compensate. I recently found a green and looking around for a hero to use it realized to my amazement that I had a healing necro rit still using her stock weapon. Well, it did work.

Otherwise, farm farm farm and buy weapons. Once you are into HM vanquishing there are more gold weapons drops and chests sometimes have a usuable weapon or a valuable inscription or weapon component. If you can afford the lockpicks.

If you're willing to spend 5k+Mats for weapons (and skin doesn't matter), you could buy them from weapon smiths. Some of the smiths craft really usable weapons - you can even buy 40/40 sets.

Or if you have the bonus mission pack, then just rinse and repeat the missions in that(Gwen one takes about 5mins iirc). Then choose you flavour of gold max dmg wep, and buy/find some mods for them.

The fastest way is to buy weapons from a weapons crafter.

The best is buy Greens from Kama D1, this will save time/money/materials on crafting the weapon the trying to find the correct mods for them.

All of my chars heros have Greens on them I collected over the years. In todays market greens are cheap most selling 5k or less. you would pay more then that for most of the mod's needed for crafter or bonus mission pack weapons.
